People and the Pullman Strike Exhibition

People and the Pullman Strike was an exhibition that was completed in four months with limited staff and minimal resources. It focuses on the people behind the famous Pullman Strike; who caused it and who it affected most, particularly in the town of Pullman. The exhibition lays out the timeline of this volatile time period, first person accounts, artifacts and biographies of key players. It also incorporates J.B. Daniel’s, a local Pullman artist, work “The Gumball Project” which features machines that comment of those same characters. I created this after I officially left the executive director position with the assistance of Andy Bullen and Rebecca Conant.
